Today, on 10 August 2024, with the efforts of the Department of Linguistics and Literature of the Government Teacher Training College, due to the positive initiative of the Principal in-charge of Government +2 High School, Kanke, Md. Qurban Ansari, located in the college campus, for the preservation and promotion of Urdu language, students studying in his school To increase interest and knowledge of Urdu language among 500 students, Urdu teacher Dr. Mazharul Haq was asked to provide his services. On the occasion, college teacher Dr. Om Prakash said that the Department of Linguistics and Literature of Government Teachers Training College, Kanke is continuously promoting practical approach based skills. For this, the cooperation of the Principal in-charge of the college, Dr. Raman Kumar Jha is commendable. It was also told that under the plan of the college, Sanskrit conversation camps and enlightenment classes will also be organized under the joint aegis of Sanskrit Bharati. There will also be lectures by learned teachers of English language from various universities. Due to sufficient teachers of language and literature in the college, the linguistics department is succeeding in achieving its goal. In the college, there are two teachers of Sanskrit language Dr. Chandra Madhav Singh and Dr. Om Prakash Tiwari, one teacher of Hindi language is Pankaj Kumar Mehta, one teacher of Urdu language is Dr. Mazharul Haq, one teacher of Nagpuri language is Dr. Ritesh Kumar Mahato and one teacher of English language. The teacher is Dr. Om Prakash. A total of six teachers are engaged in the development of the science of language and its literature.
